Eve's Crown, a Unique Sculpture from a Bay Area Artist

Eve got a raw deal in the whole biblical story. This was the initial thought artist Jana Rains had when she began crafting a crown for her. And I have to agree, afterall, she was created from one of Adam's ribs, and then blamed for offering him some delicious fruit. Sure, sure, a serpent offered her the forbidden fruit, but the fruit was also knowledge, and who doesn't want that? So Jana created this beautiful mixed media crown to honor and tell Eve’s story, and I had the pleasure of photographing it!
